STEP ONE: Search for opportunities > Marketing / Communications Professionals
Right now, we urgently need Marketing and Communications Professionals to support organisations and co-operatives in countries such as Kenya, Sierra Leone, India and Bangladesh.
Our placements in this area are diverse! Often you’ll work on income generating activities and funding proposals or you might train staff in documentation, report writing, promotion techniques or campaigning.
You normally need a degree level qualification as well as 2 years' post-qualification experience in some of the above areas. If you don’t have any direct experience in income generation activities, VSO can provide training in fundraising - have a look at our Fundraisers page. You might also want to check if you’ve got the right skills for our Advocacy jobs. And if you’ve got management experience, your skills might be transferable to a management placement.
If you're aged 18 to 25 you could take part in one of our youth volunteering programmes. Find out more here »
