Volunteering

STEP ONE: Search for opportunities > Doctor (Paediatrician)

If you’re a qualified and experienced paediatrician, we need your skills urgently. You could be sharing your vital knowledge and experience in countries such as Malawi, The Gambia, Tanzania and Uganda for one to two years.

If you’re MBBS or MBChB qualified with at least 3 years’ post-registration experience in paediatrics, you can help change lives in the world’s poorest countries.

RCPCH and VSO Fellowships

If you're a paediatrician in ST2 or up, you can spend a year or more with VSO as out of programme experience endorsed by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. As a RCPCH/VSO fellow, you'll have the mentorship of a UK and in-country senior paediatrician, and structured support to show the clinical, teaching and managerial skills and competences you gain.
