  • Memory Phiri on stage at VSO's 50th anniversary concert, The Stars of Africa, at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Memory Phiri was raped at the age of 9 by a truck driver who was giving her a lift. At the age of 13 she discovered this had left her HIV positive. She has since been supported by VSO, through education at Zambia Open Community schools and more recently through training to help her help others in similar situations.
